CPU Thermals


This screen is only available on Qualcomm processors. It supports both stock thermal deamon configuration or msm-based thermal configuration created by showp-1984. See screenshots below.

 

Here you can define a number of thresholds to regulate CPU maximum frequency.

Some kernel also supports multiple sensors, each of which have their own thresholds and sampling rate.

 

Each thresholds is made of:

  • The max frequency
  • The temperature trigger that will force max frequency
  • The temperature to release max frequency
Thermal configuration can be saved and loaded at any time. 
Thermal changes are applied automatically and on stock thermal they will stick over reboots with or without the app. On msm-based thermal configuration, it is required to set them to stick on reboot with the app.
