Which brands make the phones that go the distance? This page compares the five brands with the most phones sharing data with us, looking only at models released in 2024.
Why one year at a time? It keeps things fair: phones of the same generation have had their batteries for about the same time and were built with similar technology.
These phones are about two years old: old enough for their aging figures to start meaning something, and still recent enough to be worth buying today.
Not sure which list matters to you?
- Standby time if you use your phone lightly and would love to charge less often.
- Screen-on time if you’re on your phone a lot and need it to last the whole day.
- Efficiency (standby and screen-on power) if you want a phone that makes the most of every charge, a bit like an A+++ energy label.
- Slowest aging if you keep your phone for many years.

Each figure is an average, and averages can hide a lot of variety: tap a brand to see how all of its phones spread out. Your brand isn’t among the five? It may simply need a few more phones to join in. “Show the other brands” lists everyone who shared data.
