If you use 3C Battery Manager, you might notice that in version 4.8.7b and above,…

If you use 3C Battery Manager, you might notice that in version 4.8.7b and above, battery statistics appears incomplete.

This is due to Google’s restrictions refusing that this app access all installed apps on devices. Because of that, usage statistics gathered by the app may turn incomplete.

I’ll try to add it back in a future release, but after receiving more than 10 times below email and not receiving any responses to my appeals, I doubt it will be successful.

Thanks Google for ruining this app and so many others before that.

Only solution is to migrate to 3C All-in-One Toolbox which still has the required permission.

I’ve been trying to update my apps on Amazon App Store for more than a…

I’ve been trying to update my apps on Amazon App Store for more than a year now, and the main APKs are just not uploading and I receive an ‘Invalid Input’ error message without further explanation.

Contacting Amazon to solve this has turned into a waste of time as they either not reply at all, or simply provide useless information, asking me to check version name and code in the APK and its signature, repeatedly. FWIW I verified that signature doesn’t matter as their portal change it automatically and version name/code, if they had done their home work, is very easy to verify.

Last actual reply I received is dated back in July 27th 2020 and it said: ” This issue has been escalated and the submissions team is investigating. I do not have an ETA at the moment, however we will respond as soon as there are any updates. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Thanks! “

Since, I’ve asked for an update on this case and received no reply whatsoever!

Since 3C Toolbox version 1.9.9.7.8, refresh rates are limited, affecting widgets, notifications, recording, battery, etc……

Since 3C Toolbox version 1.9.9.7.8, refresh rates are limited, affecting widgets, notifications, recording, battery, etc…

The reason behind it is simple: 3C Toolbox is considered a bad app because of that as shown in below screenshot. Without Play Store support, this app will no longer evolve, and slowly die. I don’t want that and I assume users don’t want that either.

Play Store considers any rates higher than 6 times an hour to be bad behavior, flagging those apps as such. In comparison the free version with fixed rates is at 0.85% excessive wakeups, below the threshold.

Starting from now, I’ll see how those changes affect the ‘bad behavior’ indicator and possibly reintroduce high rates.

As of October 15th 2018, Google decided to remove 3C Toolbox Pro from Play Store.…

As of October 15th 2018, Google decided to remove 3C Toolbox Pro from Play Store. I learned 2 days later that they believe the app contains instructions on how to root users’ phone which is obviously false. See below for email/information received from Google.

As I’m not at the origin of this, and as a principle, I will not refund users for the loss. I lost much more! I lost 8 years of hard work and gained, for the second time, a lot of problems, angry emails, bad reviews, etc.

Google is forcing me to publish a new app under a new package name and a new name (see both emails from Google below). What’s the point? So they can screw us again and again until they ban my whole account?

=> Please contact Google so they reinstate the app they removed and admit they made a mistake. Forward me your request or their reply, I’ll provide an URL to the APK until all this is sorted-out. If I provide APK URL without that, you won’t bother contact Google, would you?
