No notifications except when posting comment?

Can seem to receive any notifs for my topics?

Is this normal?

Every user should now receive a notifications on the topics they post...

Not sure how to disable that, but it's a beginning.

I'm looking to move everything to a new more advanced forum... No worries everything will be migrated with it (users, contents, settings, etc...)...
